Day 05 —30 Days of Truth... Something you hope to do in your life.

I have a big list of things I want to do in my life.  Along with a list of 40 Things I want to do before I'm 40 -check out my page if you have not already.

One of the items that I did not mention on that page is  because its more of a lifetime goal then something that I want to accomplish before I'm forty.

OK so now you probably really want to know what it is well here goes: Growing Old with my Husband and having a couple of GrandKids to spoil and move to a Colorado Mountain Top and run a small Resort or B & B.

I can't believe I said it out loud.  Sure my husband and I have talked about it a few times and I know I have mentioned it to my family and friends but never announced it to the world.

See my son is 15 and I have big plans for enjoying the rest of what time I have left with him.  Being the mom that every kids wants.  You know that one that goes to all his football games, band concerts, school functions and volunteers for everything and anything she can.  That's my goal for the next 4 years a least.

After my son is gone and moved into this own life I would like to focus on a career, not just a job.  To do that I know I will probably need to go back to school and get a degree. That takes money and right now that is just not possible.  Maybe I'll get LUCKY and something great will fall into my lap, but until then I will stay content taken a class here and there, and work around my son. When he desides what he wants to be when he grows up, I will deside when me and the hubby move westward.  Until then my life will be full of Cherished Mommy Moments.

  1. Oooooooh, come out here. Come out here. I love the Colorado mountain tops. I would love to do that someday too. I, too, dream of moving to the mountains and having to use snowmobiles to get to the store in the winter. Sigh...

  2. Once the kids are out of the house, I think we'd move to a condo in a major city. That's something we've dreamed of always doing!
