Feeling like you need more and anything you read now just does not compare?
Well me too!!!
One day my BFF told me that I needed to add Fifty Shades of Grey to my reading list. I was like I don't have time to read the 5 million books I have already downloaded on my Kindle, iTunes and Nook app for my iPad. Like I need one more to add to that list! Well I'm glad that she did because one day when both my Husband and Son were working I decided that it was time for me to enjoy a book. Little did i know it was going to be three books that sucked me in and didn't let me go to bed at night until I read just "One More Chapter", that actually turned into 3 or 4 until finally I could not not see the words on my iPad anymore!
What a great series of books. And I don't say that just because of all the SEX aka Kinky Fuckery. I think what it did for me was that I could relate to Ana, she is the always defining girl that can't be told what to do and is going to do anything to protect her man. Plus even though I have told the Hubs on several occasions that I can take care of myself, I really want to be taken care of and know that someone is always looking out for me. Plus the guys is filthy rich and how much fun would that be to have everything and anything your heart desired!!!
I really didn't like how the first book ended, not one bit. But the second picked up right were the first one left off. (Just a sick ploy to make you buy the next book)
The third book is defiantly the happen ending everyone wanted! Makes me want to marry a rich, sexy man. Have his babies and lay in the meadow and be his sex slave!
And if you have not heard they are making the books into a movie. Not sure how all that Kinky Fuckery will get played out on the big screen unless they disclose it might be a porn. Anyways Mr. Matt Bomer is my pick for Christian Grey
I think Matt would be the perfect, shirtless, sex on the library pool table Christian Grey, CEO of Grey Enterprises!

I haven't read these books yet, but when I was home sick this week, I did watch a Dr. Oz show where they talked about them...might have to look into making an Amazon purchase soon!
ReplyDeleteThey are super easy to read. Took me 7 days to read them all and thats only because I had to work in-between :-) You won't be disappointed!
