In our family we try to make every Sunday, Family Day. This past weekend was one for the record book.
We decided to go to a Snowmobile Hillclimb in Dresser WI at Trollhaughen Ski Hill. Let me tell you if you have never gone to one, I would truly recommend checking one out. Even if you don’t ride, I am sure you would enjoy it.
The race was fun but the ride home and the stop at Cascade Falls is what truly made it a Road Trip to remember for me.
There is cool falls in Osceola WI, As we were driving threw the town my husband made the comment that we should stop, we found a place to pull over and got out to take a look.
I enjoyed every minute of it. I watched as my husband, son and his friend-or better known as our Brown Headed Step Child; climbed, watched and were boys. I took pictures of them when they didn’t even know it and they turned out to be what the memory was made of. There was even a moment where the BHSC-( Brown Headed Step Child) told my husband to get off the phone cuz its family day! I guess all that preaching to my boys has somehow sunk in, even the BHSC knows the importance of family day!
As we stood watching the falls I thought “What a perfect Family Day, I am truly blessed with the best family, and memories that will last a lifetime.”
As we made it back up all the steps, I took one last look at the falls to remember this perfect moment.
We stopped at Dave and Busters on our way home and the boys used their tickets to purchase some Flintstone ties that will help them remember this family day.
So get out, and enjoy Sundays, the way Sundays were meant to be….Family Day!
