So Social.....

I have spent the last two days at the Westin in Edina at the Online Marketing Summit Conference.  Let me tell you it was AWESOME.  I had such a great time and meet some great people.  


Last year when I attended the conference I was just like many others that wanted to learn all about Online Marketing. I was so excited to learn about the in's and out's of online marketing.


This year I was very fortunate and got to switch rolls and be on the other side of the room.  The marketing agency that I freelance for plays a big roll in #OMSMIN (Online Marketing Summit Minnesota for all you non-tweeps).  2 of the partners are veteran speakers for OMS and one is a Teacher for OMA. (Online Marketing Academy).  

What an opportunity this was.  Last night when I got home I realized that I have moved up in the food chain and am now someone that people look to for Online Marketing and Social Media advice, and people really listen to the things I have to say.  Not to make my head get any bigger but I'm kinda a big deal here in my little town.  


So look for me to be doing some awesome new things in the coming months.  I'm not just One Girl, I'm One Girl with Some Big Ideas! 

Online Marketing Summing June 6th-8th 2011

Online Marketing Summit (OMS) is coming to Minneapolis for a three-day Super-Regional event from June 6th – 8th.

Are you going? I am!  

I attended last years Summit and let me tell you if you have never been I would highly recommend it. At OMS is where all the Cool Online Marketing Peeps hang out and by peeps I just don't mean all your Twitter friends but most likely you will find one or five of your tweeps there.   

This year the Summit is 3 days long.  Day one is the “Online Marketing Boot Camp” and includes three tracks: Digital Marketing Essentials, Tactics & Execution and Social Media Marketing.   I highly recommend the Digital Marketing Essentials.  The NordicClick team over at NordicClick is teaching this track, so stop by and say "Hi" because I will be hanging out with them.
