“RASCAL FLATTS: NOTHING LIKE THIS PRESENTED BY JCPENNEY” AIRS SATURDAY, MARCH 12 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on ABC

I got to be part of a very cool event last night.  I won Tickets from K102 to see “RASCAL FLATTS: NOTHING LIKE THIS PRESENTED BY JCPENNEY” AIRS SATURDAY, MARCH 12 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on ABC Taping.

Last night me, The Hubby and about 400 other lucky K102 listeners got to see Rascal Flatts! It was a once in a lifetime oppuurtunity,  that for sure.



I like Rascal Flatts, they are a great country band with allot of great songs.  


Last night they played an entire concert and had a few retakes.  I like the song "Easy" but if I had to here it one more time, I think I would have punched someone.  They even took a break to fix their hair and makeup! That cracked me up.  



All three Guys Gary, Joe Don and Jay are really funny guys.  I have to say Jay has the best since of humor.  He was cracking jokes left and right and had a really funny impersonation of Minnesota Girls.  He also was the one that kept us entertained between takes and lightened the mood. Hes got a wicked Bass Solo! ;-)













Anyways!  Thanks K102, JcPenny's and Rascal Flatts for letting me be part of your 10 year celebration.  I can't wait until the special airs!

Fan-Tab-U-Lous Star Soap Give-Away!

I'm at it again.  Last Friday I decided to take a brake from all the Technology and do some crafting!!!!  Though I did have my iPhone at my side the entire time so not to miss anything import!  I tried my hand at this awesome STAR Mold I got awhile back. 

So I got out all the supplies and started to make my brew.  I decided to use the Shea Butter Base and mix it with Apple Sent-nothing says "Good Old American Starts" then Apple! 

I cut up the Shea Butter Base and melted it in the microwave for about 40 seconds.  Stirred in the Apple Sent and Blue coloring and poured it into the bottom of the bottom  of the mold.  I eyeballed how high much to pour, so eventually all three colors would be about equal.  I let it harden while I mixed up the next color, then repeated until all three colors were poured in the mold. 

Now comes the hard part!!!! Waiting......and Waiting.......and Waiting some more. 

I usually let them dry over night and then pop them out of the mold the next day!

Well there you have it 6 awesome Red, White and Blue Star Soap's!!!!
