To all of my friends, family and blog readers: As you know I work with the Endometriosis Foundation of America to raise awareness and money for a disease that affects over 176 million women, including your truly.
Unlike breast cancer, international awareness is very limited. Many women that suffer from Endometriosis don’t even know they have it. The disease is extremely painful, can cause infertility and an enormous amount of personal suffering, crippling a person for years.
The EFA works to help the public and those in the medical field understand
the importance of identifying and treating this illness. This Endometriosis Awareness Month, please join me in supporting their important work!
